Madhav National Park
Madhav National Park is located in the Shivpuri district of Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh. It spreads over a rambling area of 354 square kilometers. The terrain includes forested hills and plain grasslands. The wildlife of the park is mesmerizing. It includes deer, nilgai, sambar, black buck, sloth bear, leopard and the common langur. The most easily sighted deer are the chinkara or the Indian gazelle. An early morning safari gives one an opportunity to see the tigers. Tourists can take an elephant ride around the park or they can drive through it.
The artificial lake, Chanpata , is a haven for migratory birds. Here one can spot beautiful birds like the geese, mallard, teal, purple sunbird and the painted stork. There is a boat club on the lake where one might want to spend the night.

MY VISIT TO TAJ MAHAL
Our school arranged a visit to Agra to see the world famous Taj Mahal during summer vacations. . It is one of the wonders of the world. It is called the Mughal Marvel. We reached the station early in the morning to catch the Shatabdi Express.
The train started at 6.15 a.m. We reached Agra at 8.05 a.m. The train did not take much time to reach Agra. It stands on the banks of river Yamuna.. The Taj has four tall minarets at each corner of the tomb. All around there are lush green lawns and blooming flowers. We held our breath as we watched the splendid piece of magic and wonder.
We wandered here and there eagerly and visited every place. We spent a few hours enjoying the beauty of the monument. We came back to the station in the evening. The Taj richly deserves all the honour and distinction that it has been showered with.
